Let’s introduce…………..stable employee Lilian Mulder

In this episode of ‘Let’s introduce’, we would like to introduce another employee of the Anky Education Center in Erp. This time we highlight Anky’s 19-year-old stable employee Lilian Mulder from Ter Apelkanaal. She is employed with the AEC since January 2011.

The Anky Education Center grows very fast and the team is recently expanded by a new stable employee. December last year, I saw a groom vacancy on Anky’s website. I went to the AEC to apply for the job and I had a good feeling about it”. This ambitious rider from the north of Holland is a general stable employee and does things like feeding the horses, walking in-hand and mucking out the stables. “Before I started working here, I expected a high professionalism and they are very professional here. It’s great that I can train my ponies with Anky. I also learn a lot from my colleagues. The first time that I brought Bonfire to the field was very special to me because I realized I was walking the Olympic Champion in-hand Nelson is her favourite horse because he is a funny horse with a great character.

Since the start of her employment, Lillian already learned a lot. ”For example, being really consistent to yourself and your horse in the training. I got the chance to take two ponies to Erp. Both ponies are four years old and schooled by myself. I buy young and talented ponies, train and compete them and sell them. Last year, I competed in the finals of the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with the approved stallion Reitland’s Rinaldo Go For Gold. My other pony, Reitland’s Lennox B is doing Lilian hopes to stay at the Anky Education Center for a long time and learn as much as possible as a horse manager, groom and rider.
