Isabell Werth expects a baby boy
Published on 15 October 2009In an interview with the US-American Dressage Radio Show, Isabell Werth had disclosed a secret: Her first child, which is expected to be born first days of November, will be a baby boy. And decision has already been made about the name - but this will remain a secret.
Chris Stafford and US-American rider Debbie McDonald, who acted as co-interviewer, managed to have Isabell Werth disclosing her well-kept secret: She is expecting a baby-boy, and the child is expected to be born on November 1st. In addition, Isabell told Chris and Debbie that right now she is still riding, but “only a few rounds in walk - for my soul”, but besides that she is fully concentrating on coaching.

Besides her baby-news, Isabell reports on her career, on her time with Gigolo, who died some days ago and - for sure - she had to talk about the doping-desaster following the Pfingstturnier in Wiesbaden. By the way, Isabell Werth said in this connection, that the treatment “by my federation was not quite helpful” - and that this was “a very special experience” for her. But also today’s international dressage scene was a big theme in the “Dressage Radio Show”.
