Ingrid Klimke gives birth to daughter

Well, now also the next generation of eventing stars is safeguarded: Yesterday at night, Germany’s Ingrid Klimke gave birth to a baby girl. The second daughter of the current eventing Olympic and World Champion will be named Philippa. Both mummy and baby are doing well - this was confirmed by the Klimke-barn in Münster upon request of Equi-News.de.

After their first daughter Greta (who is eight years old), Philippa is the second child of Ingrid Klimke, who will celebrate her 42nd birthday on April 1st, and her husband Andreas Busacker.

Now, there will be some weeks “baby break” for Ingrid Klimke, but then she will be back again in the saddle. Her declared goal are the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky with the project of “title defending”.
