Diamonit most expensive horse PSI Auction

Published on 14 December 2009

The six year old Oldenburg stallion Diamonit was the most expensive horse of the 30th P.S.I. Auction. The Diamond Hit x Santander son from the dressage collection was purchased for 760,000 Euros. Many people had guessed that the approved stallion – qualified three times for the Federal Championships – would be a treasure of the collection. Diamonit, whose new owner is from “the area”, was definitely not the only horse to be purchased in the six digit level.

The Dutch gelding Wizzard (Sheraton x Cavalier) was purchased out of the show jumping collection for 570,000 Euros. The approved Trakehner stallion Donaugold (Distelzar x Sokrates) cost 500,000 Euros and Linton, the grey Holsteiner stallion (Lican x Calido I) out of the show jumping collection was worth 450,000 Euros for his new owner.

The total revenue of the P.S.I. Auction was 10,440,000 Euros which was just under the results of last year. Although it proved that quality product is still in demand worldwide.
