Finally, at the fourth day of the European Championships, it was Anky her turn to enter the arena. Together with her horse Whizashingingwalla BB she took part at the first reining competition of the Europeans. It was up to Anky to put down the first Dutch result as 10th competitor of today.
With a score of 207 points Anky was really satisfied. 'It's really amazing to be here and ride here, we've got a super team and reining is a fantastic sport. I can be pleased with my run today. Of course there are some things to improve, but overall it went well. It was a bit shit that my hat fell off, because of that I did loose some points I think.'
Today there're competing nine reining teams against each other. The competition of today is also the first individual qualifier. Tomorrow there's another change to qualify for the teamfinal on Sunday. The best fifteen riders of today are automattically qualified for the final.
