International Grand Prix debut of Jorinde Verwimp big success!

Published on 12 May 2015
Last week at CDI Roosendaal, Jorinde Verwimp made her international Grand Prix debut with her horse Tiamo (by Lester). The pair was already very successful at Young Riders and U25 level. They won the individual bronze medal during the European Championships for Young Riders last summer in Arezzo.

The Grand Prix debut of Jorinde and Tiamo was made three weeks ago during the Belgium Cup. Their first Grand Prix was already a victory for the bronze duo. Now they were ready to enter the International Grand Prix.

The CDI Roosendaal Grand Prix was on Friday. With a score of 70.08%, Jorinde took the second place home. The pair did get one first, twice a second and one third place from the judges. Because of the significantly different twelfth place of the Luxembourg judge Umbach, a victory for the young Belgian was unfortunately no longer possible. The first place went to the Belgian Jeroen Devroe, he scored just one point higher than Jorinde. It was the other way round at the Grand Prix Special. Jorinde took the first place with two points difference of Jeroen Devroe. Jorinde debuted with her Lester offspring in the Special and received a score of 71.12%. She can be very pleased with her International Grand Prix debut. A fantastic performance from Jorinde and Tiamo!
